of attendees stated they will use the Origin8 method from now

Participants to this event followed the Origin8 process and focused on just the Origins principle (Context → Purpose → Vision) to turn intangible ideas into architectural sketches and AI renderings, using guided drawing techniques and the Polyfuniculator system.

Challenge

The festival was looking for:
– An activity to help participants reconnect with their creativity
– A way to turn complex thoughts into something visible and tangible
– An experience that moved beyond abstract conversations
– A format that made ideas easy to express and share visually

Solution

The workshop introduced a hands-on, structured process that guided participants from abstract thinking to tangible creation.

  1. Clear structure: The Context → Purpose → Vision framework helped participants overcome the “blank page” effect, providing clarity and confidence to begin drawing.
  2. Visual externalization: By sketching architectural forms, attendees unlocked ideas they couldn’t express with words, translating thought into visual language.
  3. Immediate feedback: Each drawing was transformed into an AI-generated image, giving participants a vivid reflection of their intent and deepening their understanding.
  4. Tactile engagement: Using the Polyfuniculator, participants experienced how gravity naturally defines structure—turning an abstract principle into a physical, intuitive insight.

What we learned together

What resonated most:
Half of the participants (50%) highlighted the drawing and sketching process as the most impactful element. Others mentioned the Purpose–Vision phase (20%), the magnet-based Polyfuniculator activity (10%), the introduction to Gaudí’s principles (10%), and the entire process as a whole (10%).

Insights gained:
Participants frequently used words such as nature, organic, breaking patterns, and creating human spaces, showing how the workshop inspired a deeper connection between design, intuition, and natural principles.

Future intentions:
Every respondent expressed a desire to apply the Origin8 method or join another session, with comments like “Let’s collab” and “I would love to join your online workshop.”

Verbal satisfaction:
Feedback was 100% positive, with participants describing the experience as “wonderful,” “inspiring,” and “amazing.”
