In 90 minutes you will reframe it, ask one of the three teachers — Nature, Culture, or History — the right question, use AI as a research partner, and leave with a tangible new direction to take into your week. Ninety minutes online, with you doing the work alongside everyone else in the room. The masterclass opens with a short introduction to the Origin8 Method and its philosophy. Then we move into the exercise. You will write down a real challenge from your work, sketch a first solution to surface your default thinking, and then reframe the challenge by asking one of the three teachers — Nature, Culture, or History — a more original question. You will use AI as a research partner to find unexpected directions, then translate one of those directions into a second sketch. The exercise is built around a metaphor: imagining your challenge as a building. This keeps your thinking lateral rather than literal, and unlocks possibilities your usual problem-solving routine cannot reach.You leave with a tangible new direction, a reusable framework, and a different relationship to your work.
Minutes 0-10. Welcome and method. Introduction to Originate Institute, the Origin8 philosophy, and why Gaudí. A short framing of the three teachers and what each one teaches.
Minutes 10-20. Your challenge. You write down a real challenge from your work. You sketch a first solution as a building. This surfaces your default thinking and gives us something to work from.
Minutes 20-45. The right question. You choose one of the three teachers — Nature, Culture, or History — and reframe your challenge as a question for that teacher. We use AI as a research partner to find responses you would not have found alone.
Minutes 45-70. Translation. You take one insight that resonates and translate it into a new sketch of your solution. Still as a building. Still lateral, not literal.
Minutes 70-85. AI as collaborator. You describe your new solution as a prompt for an AI image tool. We see how AI interprets your reframed thinking. This is the moment most participants notice how different their second sketch is from their first.
Minutes 85-90. Reflection and next step. Quick sharing in the chat or on camera. A short closing on what to do with this framework next week.
