Designing from the origins-online masterclass

Minutes 0-15. Welcome and method. Introduction to Originate Institute, the Origin8 philosophy, why Gaudí, and a short framing of the three teachers and what each one teaches.

Minutes 15-30. Your challenge. You write down a real challenge from your work and sketch a first solution as a building. This surfaces your default thinking and gives us something to work from.

Minutes 30-65. The right question. You choose one of the three teachers, Nature, Culture, or History, and reframe your challenge as a question for that teacher. You use AI as a research partner to find responses you would not have reached alone.

Minutes 65-95. Translation. You take one insight that resonates and translate it into a new sketch of your solution. Still as a building. Still lateral, not literal.

Minutes 95-110. AI as collaborator. You describe your new solution as a prompt for an AI image tool and see how AI interprets your reframed thinking. This is the moment most participants notice how far their second sketch has travelled from their first.

Minutes 110-120. Reflection and next step. Sharing in the chat or on camera, and a short closing on how to use this framework next week.
